Follow Farming is a project of the Marion County Farm Bureau. We want to share the day-to-day activities of farming so that consumers know how their food is grown. We welcome questions. We are farmers. We encourage you to ASK A FARMER… ABOUT FARMING!
Currently, we are highlighting a local pig farm. Scott and Tracey Isler (Marion County Farm Bureau farmers) will show and tell day-to-day activities and answer questions about our pig farm from the birth of a pig through market.
Looking back in our archives, you will see a soybean farm. This was a seven month look into what a farmer does to grow your food, fuel, and fiber. Our farm planted and harvested 10-acres of corn and soybeans in partnership with Morral Companies and local farmers.
